Welcome to the Online MS in Civil Engineering Program
Congratulations on your acceptance to UGA's Online Civil Engineering Non-Thesis Master's Program!
Let's get started.
Let's get started.
STEP 1
Get your UGA MyID
Your UGA MyID is a unique username assigned for you to access many University services, including registering for classes and orientation. When you applied to UGA, you should have received an important email titled “UGA Account Information – Please Keep,” which contains information about your UGA MyID. If you haven’t already done so, click on the link in that email to set up your MyID password and create your MyID profile. If the link in the email you received has expired, or you haven’t received this email, please check your spam folder or contact the EITS Help Desk or phone 706-542-3106
STEP 2
Join the CVLE Program Piazza.
Civil Engineering's program-level Piazza provides direct access to the program and student support people, ensuring that you can quickly receive help with any academic or administrative questions. Here, you can stay up-to-date with announcements, deadlines, and events and connect with your classmates outside of class. By joining the Civil Engineering Piazza, you ensure you are well-supported, well-informed, and well-connected throughout your master's program.
STEP 3
Private Message Robert in Piazza.
In Piazza, post a private note to Robert and share your UGA MyID with him so can enroll you in the Student Program Hub in eLC.
The Civil Engineering Student Program Hub in eLC, our learning management platform hosted by D2L Brightspace, is your go-to resource center for all things related to your online Master's in Civil Engineering program. Here, you'll find essential resources, calendars, and tutorials to help you navigate your courses and stay organized. The Hub also hosts the program-level Piazza, where you can connect with classmates and get answers to your program-specific questions. Whenever you're logged into eLC, the Student Hub is your one-stop shop for support and program information.
